Dave Gahan feiert heute seinen Geburtstag. Nicht irgendeinen Geburtstag, nein. Unser aller Lieblingssänger wird 50 Jahre alt! Happy birthday und herzlichen Glückwunsch! Zum Geburtstag hat sich Dave selbst beschenkt: Das gemeinsame Album mit den Soulsavers ‚The Light The Dead See‘ (Amazon), das am 18. Mai erscheint, hat er sich Dave nach eigenen Worten so oft angehört wie keine anderes Werk mit ihm als Sänger. Wer das Album schon hören konnte, kennt auch den Grund. Auf dem Longplayer ist Gahan gesanglich noch einmal gereift und offenbart ganz neue Facetten. Man darf gespannt sein, wie sich diese Entwicklung auf seine Arbeit mit Depeche Mode im Studio auswirkt. Im Juni beginnt die zweite Session.
