Eigentlich hätten Depeche Mode am Sonntag als Headliner beim Pinkpop-Festival im niederländischen Landgraaf spielen sollen. Der Auftritt fiel jedoch aus den bekannten Gründen aus: Wegen eines Blasentumors, der inzwischen operiert wurde, kann die Tour von Depeche Mode erst ab dem 8. Juni 2008 in Leipzig fortgesetzt werden. Brian Molko, Sänger von Placebo und erklärter Depeche Mode-Fan, nutzte seinen Auftritt, um Dave Gahan gemeinsam mit den Festivalbesuchern gute Besserung zu wünschen – eine sehr nette Geste von Brian (im Video ab Minute: 6:40).
