7 Maxis zum 14. Studioalbum von Depeche Mode
Das Boxset „Spirit – The 12″-Singles“ enthält sechs Maxi-Singles mit Songs aus dem 14. Studioalbum der Band – sowie eine Überraschung für Fans.
Im Einzelnen erhalten ihr die Vinyl-Maxis zu den Songs Where’s The Revolution, Soothe Going Backwards und Cover Me. Zusätzlich sind B-Seiten, Remixes, Dub-Versionen und andere Aufnahmen aus der Zeit enthalten, als das 14. Album von Depeche Mode veröffentlicht wurde.
Als Überraschung für die Fans enthält das Boxset erstmals eine 12-Inch mit Songs aus den bekannten Highline-Sessions, die am 3. August 2016 in New York City entstand – inklusive der Coverversion von David Bowies „Heroes“, die die Band auf der Tour live performte. Außerdem bekommt ihr bislang unveröffentlichte Fassungen von So Much Love und Poison Heart zu hören.
Das Boxset enthält zudem eine Reproduktion des Original-Marketingplakats zu „Spirit“ und einen digitalen Download-Code.
Für die Aufnahmen von „Spirit“ engagierten Dave Gahan, Martin Gore und Andrew Fletcher erstmals den englischen Musiker und Produzenten James Ford .
