Happy Birthday, Dave Gahan! Der Depeche-Mode-Sänger feiert heute seinen 58. Geburtstag.
Ein rauschendes Fest wird heute im Hause Gahan sicherlich nicht gefeiert werden. In Gahans Wahlheimat New Work sind die Menschen wie in vielen anderen Teilen der Welt aufgerufen, wegen der COVID-19–Pandemie zu Hause zu blieben und unnötige Kontakte zu vermeiden. Während manche Wirrköpfe die Gefährlichkeit des Virus immer noch anzweifeln, starben im Big Apple bereits über 26.000 Menschen mit einer Infektion – 23.000 mehr als üblicherweise im gleichen Zeitraum.
Was könnten wir Dave Gahan also mehr wünschen, als dass er und seine Familie weiterhin gesund bleiben!? Mit etwas Glück, werden wir Dave und seine Bandkollegen Anfang November wiedersehen, wenn sie feierlich in die Rock & Roll Hall of Fame eingeführt werden.
