Die Pet Shop Boys werden ihr neues Album „YES“ auch als limited Edition veröffentlichen. Für die neuen Songs haben Chris Lowe und Neil Tennant unter anderem mit Xenomania zusammengearbeitet. Chris Lowe äußert sich begeistert: „Dieses Album ist beeindruckend. Es war toll, mit Xenomania zu arbeiten!“ Und Neil Tennant findet: „Es ist ein fantastisches, weit gefächertes Popalbum.“
Auf mehreren Songs ist Johnny Marr als Gitarrist zu hören; die Orchesterarrangements auf „Beautiful People“ und „Legacy“ stammen von Owen Pallett (Last Shadow Puppets, Final Fantasy).Und neben der normalen Edition erscheint „Yes“ am 20.03.2009 auch als limiterte „Yes etc.“ Edition mit einer Bonus-Remix-CD, auf der sich neben einigen exklusiven Remixen auch ein exklusiver Song befindet!

Ich habe mir das Album frisch gedownloadet und bin sehr beeindruckt von dem Album.
Ich habe kurz reingehört und der Opener hat mich gleich schon von Anfang an wieder begeistert. Nach so vielen Jahren immer noch Interessant, das ist toll.
Ähnlich schlichtes Cover wie Sound of The Universe.
